What is Shockwave Therapy?

Shockwave therapy (SWT) is an advanced new treatment that has been proven effective for a host of conditions. Originally designed to treat kidney stones by using precise, directed kinetic energy to break up calcium deposits – it was soon discovered that this technology has the potential to do much more than just shatter kidney stones.
